The reset button is yellow. The power-on-power-off button is white. If
you hit the reset button (yellow), this will definitely reset the
comuter immediately and possibly caused in-flight transactions some
bleeding. If you hit the power-on-power-off button (white button), this
depends on a lot of factors! It depends on what Led codes are displayed
if you're able to successfully hit the power-on-power-off button twice.
As each system is NOT created equally within the IBM hardware platform
world it would be helpful to know if you're running a pSeries (Regatta
or equivalent [p670]) or an IBM RS/6000 machine to determine the proper
steps. Do you have an MCA or PCI architecture. (The steps are somewhat
different--but important for firmware). Please advise.

We have an M80 here which was recently hung and needed to be restarted
from the hardware level. My question is which button should be used? The
