So then I'd do a 'ssh target_server -X -l user'? (I'm not finding the -X option out there).

And doing this will allow me to shut down ports 23 and all those shell ports?

Talking with my firewall guy, he says he's blocking the traffic coming back from my AIX_Box in our DMZ to my WinPC. I'm waiting on him to open it up but maybe he does not have to?

Hello Patrick,
you don't want to compromise your security!
Just use ssh and tunnel your X-Application over ssh like Bill submitted.
It's a secure way and you do not need to open any additional Ports on your
machine or open any Firewall Rules.
