You can do it, then Power it on in lpar standby, and boot it with all
resource as if it were a partition. If you have the right cable, and it
is attached correctly, doing a refresh on the HMC should show it.

Has anyone done this? We have a new p630 we want managed by the HMC
that manages our p690.
I haven't found any docs specifically for this. I have the serial cable
attached but that's about it I don't know where to look for command
instructions.
