its httpLITE because it only listens to localhost, port 49123 (or
similar)
you only can use it with a browser startet on the host where httplite is
running
(also the man-command uses it)

install/use apache or ibmhttpserver to get remote access

Subject: Re: aix 5.2 and httpd question

I just migrated to AIX 5.2 and noticed
/usr/IMNSearch/httpdlite/httpdlite
up and running.

I'd like to use Microsoft IE to browse
and performed http://ip_addr expecting something
to come up but got "Page Not Found"

Question:
1. Where do I start configuring?
2. Is there a simple way to bring up an html page?

Joe

Sorry I'm just new to this "http" thing.
