At my last job, we did this without an issue. We had several SP complexes with different CWS on the same network.

I cannot remember what it is about the IP address of the control workstation that PSSP mandates it to be the highest on the SP network. But we want to install another SP with another CWS on the same network. the private network (en0) will be a different network but the public (en1) will be the same. can both CWS live on the same public network?
