I have not used SDD with VVM on AIX. I dont know whether that is
supported. I have used Veritas DMP(Dynamic Multi Path) and that works
fine with VVM. Are these AIX hosts?

     I have a Shark, and I use sdd software so that when I create Vg, I
can use vpath instead of hdisk. Using vpath can improve the high
availability of fiber channel. When one channel down, another channel
can takeover. But I don't know if I can use vpath when I want to create
Diskgroup-diskgroup is the concept from Veritas, which similar as VG.
