Huh ? 64-bit processors ?
What about my lowly F50 I just did ? It runs 5.2 fine. As does my R50,
which has 5.1

AIX 5 will only install on 64bit processors. If you are talking about the
kernel, the install will create a 32 bit kernel but as I just learned from
this list yesterday, you can change it to a 64 bit kernel.
