Chris,

That did it!!!

Actually found it in those old "Software Development Solutions for AIX
Version 4 [Fifth Edition]" CD's.

Strange thing is, I still had to install a couple filesets I did not want
and did not need on AIX 4.3.3 image that I migrated up to AIX 5.2 ML02??

  trypli 1.1.0.0 C F IBM PL/I Set for AIX
(Try it for 60 days)
  SdU.vsam 1.1.0.1 C F SMARTdata UTILITIES VSAM
Record Level Access Method

But they don't seem to harm anything and at least It did not force me to
install COBOL like the previous version did.

THANKS AGAIN!

Hmmm. I ran sde.tools.lpex thru google, ran down the list until I found
this link

http://www.slac.stanford.edu/comp/c/cset/313/notes/install.txt

Looks like the sde filesets are part of the C++ product.

IMO

No takers for this one?

We are fine on the systems we migrated up from AIX 4, but for some new
systems, we don't recall where we got the "sde.*.*" filesets from. We
found some on a AIX demo CD we had but not all and not the right version.

Anyone know where to get them? especially "sde.tools.lpex 1.4.0.0"

Thanks (again),

Where can I get the fileset "sde.tools.lpex" at or above version 1.4.0.0.
Need its dependancies also.

This is for AIX 5.2 ML02

On a box I migrated up from a 4.3.3 image, I have these filesets:
