| Subject: can't remove a lv after a failed mklv |
>-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
I had a mklv hang up in which I cntrl/c to get out of it, when I try and
rerun the mklv, it fails with;
# mklv -m mapu1 bgfstvg 71
0516-020 lcreatelv: Logical volume name or minor number already in use.
0516-822 mklv: Unable to create logical volume.
It appears it was partially created but shows no physical partitions and no
lps and no type.
When I try and delete the lv, I get;
0516-306 getlvodm: Unable to find lv15 in the Device
Configuration Database.
0516-912 rmlv: Unable to remove logical volume lv15.
But it shows with smit.
How can I delete?
thanks.
