Most likely someone deleted a file in use. Try and unmount the filesystem
and remount it.

This is on Linux system,
I run the command df -h /home
and it says the file system is full, and the size of file system is 30 GB.
and when I run du -h and it shows that only 12 GB of space is used..
Any Idea what might be eating all the space??
Any hint will be highly appreciated.
