aix dd for ethernet doesnt like auto...it continuously tries to renegotiate
the speed and causes latency

that card should beset to 100 full for 100full port, auto for GigE

Anyone seen any issues when leaving Auto-negotiate set using a Gigabit
Ethernet Card, especially when hooking up to a Full Duplex 100 switch?

I wouldn't in my right mind (or left, for that matter) hook a 100Base card
up anything but specifically!

Many thanks in advance, and sorry for the long disclaimer.
