SMP processor activate/deactivate Command

Ok, I'm blanking 'cause I haven't had to use the command in a few years and
I've switch companies so that my "Favorites" no longer lists it ... at least
my brain is saying there is one and I don't have to shut down to do it.
That may be the problem! ;-)

What's the command on an SMP system that will activate or deactivate a
processor?

Many thanks in advance, and sorry for the lengthy disclaimer!
