boot into firmware and select "install from" or "boot from" option and
choose CD
do you see activity on CD drive once you do this?

the bootlist now is only:
1 - cdrom
but the problem persists.
prompt boot firmware appears when there isn't a boot device ?
maybe SCSI problem ?
