Hi
Can anybody confirm that GNU readline it is not statically linked
(compiled with the samba binary) and it has to be added as a separate
package?

OS AIX 5.1
The client is reporting that it requires: libreadline.a -- it its not in
the fileset.
Presumably readline has to be added as a separete package - if using
dynamically linked libraries
If statically linked into the biniary that it is not required as an
additional library.
