For TSM i use something like:

#at now /usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/rc.adsmserv >/dev/console 2>&1

Hi All,

I need to run a process in the background, but my normal trick of
setting to /dev/null will not work with this app.

Here is what I would normally do:

#nohup DSpool CDS > /dev/null 2>&1 &

Unfortunately the app fails when doing this. Any ideas on other
ways to get an app to run in the background?

Thanks,
Alan
