That is not true, but it may stem from the fact that many
gigabit ethernet cards do not support network boot. You do
need to verify with IBM that your card does support network
boot.

I have just been told that I can't use Gigabit ethernet between a NIM Master
and client.
Is this really true? I can't remember ever reading this, nor can I think of
any reasons why this might be the case.
