I would assume RAC, Oracle 9i Real Application Cluster, better yet TAF
(Transaction Failover). RAC is better than HACMP, no need to reboot
server and it supports Load Balancing/Failover for the cluster.

When an Oracle DBA speaks of 'clustering', is that
synonymous with HACMP?

Can two AIX systems share JFS's on an SSA array, both
with write permission to said JFS's? TIA.
