There are two places I normally look for pre-compiled AIX binaries:
http://www.rge.com/pub/systems/aix/bull
and
http://aixpdslib.seas.ucla.edu/aixpdslib.html
But I don't see pre-compiled binaries for either of those utilities
that will work under 5.1.

Maybe you could ask them to recompile for 5.1?
