Thank you Holger - I did the following and it worked perfectly:
Efence 3
SDRArchive 040203
spdelnode -l 3
syspar_ctrl -r
Thank you again for the help!

no, just spdelnode and syspar_ctrl -r (if I remember the parameter
correctly... look @ pssp admin.guide)

Thank you Holger.
Assuming that I'm not running any of the aforementioned items - do I
have to do anything prior/after to spdelnode? (-Aside from my SDR
backup).
Thank you again;

depends on whether you are using node groups, vsd, loadleveler or
whatever
in normal cases, spdelnode is enough
backup SDR before

Subject: Removing an SP node
Hi all;
We have 7-SP wide nodes running AIX 433 ML 10 and PSSP 32.
We just migrated our production node [NODE_3] to a new standalone p630.
IBM is coming onsite tomorrow to remove NODE_3 out of the Complex per
the client's request.
Does anyone have any idea of what exactly needs to be done prior to this
node getting ripped out of the middle of this SP rack?
Thanks in advance for the help;
Theresa
