Let me add this though.

I had an F-50 running 332MHz CPUs running at 14MB/second to an LTO drive.
The same LTO drive on an Intel-based Windows 2000 server with CPUs over
800MHz ran at 5MB/second.

        Subject: PCI Adapter Inquiry

Good afternoon,

We have a 7025-F50 server with a 4 PCI Ultra SCSI adapter connected to
external DLT 7000 tapes drives (DLT Tape Library).
We are planning to purchase a dedicated backup server and considering a
Intel based server due to cost.
Can we install these adapter on Intel based servers?

Adapter Feature code:6207

thanks,

Librado Pamintuan
