Actually, our TSM folks are saying that firewall ports are required to
pass meta-data, specifically, port # 35868.

the communication is the same as with non-lanfree
so, connection from some_port to 1510 or 1520 or whatever you defined

only the data is transfered via san, commands etc go through ip
