Filesystem Mount error

Dear all,

We are facing a strange occassional problem. At system startup, sometime
'datavg' volume group filesystems could not be mounted. Manual mounting also
fails giving following error:

"0506-324 : Cannot mount /dev/db_prod2 on /db_prod2 : There
is a request to a device or address that does not exist"
.

Restarting the system resolves the problem. I suspect some deeper problem.

We are using AIX 4.3.3 on F80 server.

What should I check and where are the boot logs placed.

I would be grateful for your help.
