Admins,

I understand that IBM has gone to a new pricing structure where you can no
longer buy just OS upgrades. You now have to purchase software support as
well. We traditionally purchased just the OS upgrade support and used SW
support on a time and material basis. We have to come up with some quick
numbers to see how much this type of support is going to cost. Our software
vendor has not gotten back to us yet so I'm wondering if anybody can give
me a ballpark of the cost for the support? Is it based on server type?
Number of CPU's?

We have a number of boxes of various sizes including a number of SP nodes.
I like to see what someone in the U.S. is paying if possible (again
ballpark numbers are adequate, I'm not looking for specifics at this
point).

Thanks,
