When I need to do that I type:

ls -1 *.trc | xargs -L10 rm

  I am trying to delete bunch of oracle trace files , But when I do delete *.trc I get The parameter list is too long. error . Is there anyway I can delete these files .

  ksh: /usr/bin/rm: 0403-027 The parameter list is too long.
