Tony,

you don't need to compile something. lsoff-455 from BULL already contains
the lsof executable in /usr/local/bin.

I'm trying to load lsof 4.55 on AIX 4.3.3 node that I downloaded from
the BULL site. I downloaded an exe which I ran to create the bff file. I
ran smit install and it created an lsof-4.55 directory with some files
but the docs say to run Configure & make and neither one of these files
exist in the directory.
Can anyone help me on this?

[webd] /usr/local/lib/lsof-4.55 # ls

hostwhence.c machine.h

install.sh scripts
00DCACHE 00FAQ 00PORTING 00XCONFIG
lsof.man version.h

TIA
