One additional note, I think that the groups needed to be added via smit
and not just an editing of the /etc/filesystems file, so that they
became a part of the VGDA

I believe that they are, I used to work in a shop with EMC and their
Business Continuation Volumes ( third breakable mirror ) and if I recall
correctly, we used to import the broken mirror onto an alternate server
and then used a mount -t <group> to mount the volumes. Unfortunatly,
where I am at now, I am unable to test it as we have no HA or VG's that
I can take off line.
