spcws02:/usr/local/bin >dsh "lsvg -o|lsvg -i|grep 'TOTAL PPs'"
r04n49: VG PERMISSION: read/write TOTAL PPs: 542
(17344 megabytes)

lsvg allows for redirection back into itself with the "-i" flag.

Subject: script to find out allocated space ..

Hi ,

I've received several large space requests, but before I start allocating
it , I need to find out how much space is mounted on each node/ allocated
on each node so we can get a solid number for available space before
dishing out any more.

I have 79 spnodes .. does anyone have logic /script to find out all
allocated space to all of these nodes ?

I am thinking -

spcws01@/>dsh lspv "|" grep vpath | wc -l
     500
spcws01@/>

but I will have to go through every node to find out disk capacity so that
I can do vpath*32Gb = no.of space allocated ..

Thank You

Shekhar Dhotre.
