I believe you use a function key (F1?) to select SMS mode when booting the
PCI machine. Then you set the boot list to select your desired device as
the next boot device.

Subject: Puzzling question

One of my users asked me if the service mode bootlist
have any effect anymore on a PCI machine. There's no
key, but does hitting F5/5 have any impact? For
example, if I only had rmt0 in my service mode
bootlist, would it attempt to boot from CD if I hit F5
during the boot?

I saw a question similar to this posted a few weeks
back, but a search through the archive showed no
answers.
