I would suggest using fasT or other fibre channel storage instead of
2104-DU3 for booting and user data. Gives you more flexibility for
configurations.

We're consolidating eight 7025-F50's into a single 7038-6M2 (p650). We
will be using LPAR's on this new box. My hardware vendor is telling me we
need the 2104-DU3 disk drawer. What I'm looking for is any pros or cons
regarding this piece of hardware. Is there anyone out there willing to
share their thoughts on this (2104-DU3) hardware?
