Pgsp is the amount that's paged out - on hd6 etc.
Virtual is Pgsp plus the stuff that's actually in real memory.
Persistent is file data on disk and doesn't make up part of the Virtual
address space, but does show up in the

I'm sure people knew then, just couldn't be bothered to answer, or were
busy; it's all in the manuals, anyway. (If you look at command entries in
the HTML manuals there are hyper-links to all of the explanatory texts.)
