You'll need the 'rsct' filesets and maintenance levels. This is how the
HMC and Regatta talk with each other.

Subject: Aix migration 4.3 to 5L

Hi gang,

All of my migrations have been from CD.... very simple for the most
part...
pop in the CD and select upgrade!.... I have now received a
Pseries(Regatta)
machine with Aix 5L loaded on it. My goal is to migrate my H70 running Aix
4.3 to the new machine. In my mind I know things like /etc/passwd,
/etc/groups, /etc/security,/home for users and /etc/qconfig, for queues,
/usr/local stuff should be migrated. Of course there are more that I am
not
thinking of. Hence why I am making this plea to my peers....*smile* What
other things should I consider when planning this task???..... Any help
will
be appreciated...
