awww poo. That didn't work out anywhere as neatly as I had hoped.
I want to know *WHAT* is expanding.
The trick will be to know what file *specifically is changing in size. The
best I can suggest is to run that command
du -a |sort -nr > /tmp/`date`.tmp
one day, and then again the next. Compare the output and see what in your
root filesystem is changing.
