AIX 5.2 back to 4.3.3 or lower

Hoping everyone had some good time off........

A co-worker was saying that if I put AIX 5.2 on some boxes, not sure
which ones, which I could not go back to 4.3.3. Has anyone seen or
heard this? I load the OS 5.1, 4.3.3 or even 4.2.1 many times on the
same box for testing, hence the reason I ask.

Also at which ML level does AIX 4.3.3 support the 6228 cards?
