Re: secure ftp

I entered the full pathname /usr/local/bin/ssh. I am not getting the zlib
error now but I do get the following:

$ /usr/local/bin/ssh schnuc ls
ssh: connect to host schnuc port 22: Connection refused

Do I need to define port 22 in /etc/services?

Thanks,
Jim

can you ssh, or scp to that box? can you ssh FROM that box? i had to put a
symlink in /bin to /usr/local/bin/ssh to get scp to work to one of my boxes.

Subject: secure ftp

Good Day All,
I install openssh that I downloaded from the Bull website on an RS/6000
running AIX 4.3.3. When I execute ssh or sftp I get the following error:

sysdev> sftp schnuc
Connecting to schnuc...
Could not load program /usr/local/bin/ssh:
Dependent module libz.a(shr.o) could not be loaded.
Could not load module libz.a(shr.o).
Error was: No such file or directory
Connection closed

Is there something I need to install or download to correct this problem?

Thanks,
Jim Naylor
