Yes, I am aware of this aspect. If I put rlogin=true, I will be able to
login. My main objective is 2 users test1 and test2 will be sharing the
privileged a/c id sapadm. But I do not want test1 & test2 to directly login
using sapadm, they should login using test1 & test2 and then do su - sapadm
Is there anyway to do that ?

Sachin

Hello
This is because you have "rlogin = false" in the default stanza. This is
not normal. To test it, put "rlogin = true" in test2's stanza and see what
it does.

Hi
I have set under /etc/security/user the default settings
default:
admin = false
login = true
su = true
daemon = true
rlogin = false
and for newly created id test2, I have setting
test2:
admin = false
Now when I try to login by the id test2, it says
3004-306 Remote logins are not allowed for this account.
Actually, it should allow me all logins other than root from my PC's telnet
session and allow root login from directly console.
Any idea ? AIX is 4.3.3 ML10
Regards
Sachin
