Hi Holger,
no, the fileset bos.rte.bosinst can't be deinstalled, because
i had to deinstall the total OS as prereq :-(

But you gave a good advice: i compared the output of
  odmget -q"lpp_name = 'bos.rte.bosinst'" product
of my two systems. (ODMDIR=/etc/objrepos)

I got two entries with lpp_name = "bos.rte.bosinst" and ver = 4.
bos.rte.bosinst for AIX5 has no entry, and therefor i
  odmdelete -q"lpp_name = 'bos.rte.bosinst'" product
  0518-307 odmdelete: 2 objects deleted.

"lslpp -l bos.rte.bosinst" now only gives
  Fileset Level State Description
----------------------------------------------------------------
Path: /usr/lib/objrepos
bos.rte.bosinst 5.1.0.36 COMMITTED Base OS Install Commands

and "lppchk -v" gives no output

Everything seems to be fine.
Thank you!
