To get back to my original question....
Does anyone know of any files in /var/ct that I can delete or compress?
Thanks!

After reading the following in the script:
# WARNING: THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THIS SCRIPT IS TO REMOVE FILES,
# SO IT HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR UNEXPECTED RESULTS.
I don't think the client will approve this method...
I'm going to look at "tidysys"
Thanks!

it should already be there, commented out in root's crontab. Also,
"tidysys" available from the bull freeware site, is good as well...

Folks,
AIX5
We've been trying to "clean up" /var, and I have
found the following through "du":
28952 ./ct
28848 ./ct/563612236
18752 ./adm
14096 ./ct/563612236/log/mc
14096 ./ct/563612236/log
11808 ./ct/563612236/run/mc
11808 ./ct/563612236/run
I believe these are audit files
Is there a method to keep these file to a minimum...
(e.g.) Which files can be compressed, etc...
Thanks!
