Re: disk serial number

         Iam sorry, yes..lsattr is the correct command, but I noticed that
the number which is pasted on the ssa disk is only a part of the serial
number that is shown in lsattr. for eg: the serial number pasted on the ssa
disk is AC5188C8 where as lsattr shows 004AC5188C800D.The ssaraid utility
also shows the serial number.

If all you want is the serial number, as you originally said, then lsattr is
the command to use. If you want to get the whole SSA Link Verification
output from a single command, then you should have said so.
