It's been mentioned on the list ... the original announcement contains a
list of unsupported machines. I've attached a .pdf containing the list.

We just started installing AIX 5.2 on our machines and found that "old"
(i.e. non-chrp) hardware is no longer supported (this is documented in
the release notes, but I don't remember hearing about it before the
release). These are machines like 43p Model 140 (7043-140) that we
bought less than 2 years ago. IBM says we're the only customer who has
complained about this, but I find that hard to believe. I wonder if
anyone else has found this to be a problem, found a work-around, and/or
complained to IBM?
