Erik,
I saw this problem before at a customer site, But it was solved by the IBM
CE as it is clearly indicate a Hardware error. Have the CE check if all
macrocode level on all components are at the latest level.

This is using fiber connections to the 2109. The CE
has been onsite and can't find any problems. Anyone
have any ideas? From what's been reported to me, the
VG is created successfully (there are three hdisks per
vpath), but we get one of these errors per vpath
(always the third disk).
