you need to stop and start the automountd process. You can't refresh this
one.

try

stopsrc -s automountd

startsrc -s automountd

Subject: automounter - how to refresh after adding another filesystem to
a uto_master?

Hi-

We're having an issue with automounter-

        1) We add another filesystem entry to auto_master and want it
take effect

        2) How do we refresh auto_mounter so it starts servicing the
new mount point
                without rebooting the box?

thanks,
-pablo
