One big difference is that the 7043-140 will NOT be supported to run AIX 5.2
and above. It will run 5.1. I think it's because of the PCI engineering
model used (PREP). Same thing for the 7043-240.

Subject: [aix-l] Compare 7043-140 to 7043-150

Anyone has idea what is the big difference between 7043-140 and 7043-150
beside the
speed of the CPU and what is the big advantage on 7043-150 compare to
7043-140. I noticed that the max. speed of the CPU can use on 7043-140
is 332 MHz. The 7043-150 normally use 375 MHz. Does the 7043-140 can
run AIX 5.1 OS?

Thanks

Frank
