Probably not. The Microcode is not coded to address that much memory.
That would be my bet.

According to the IBM sales manual, the B50 only supports 1 GB of RAM spread
across 4 DIMM's (256 MB each).
Does anyone know if we stuck 4x512 MB DIMM's in the B50, would it work?
