I had once very similar problem. After one migration of all the SSA HDs
from one to another
drawer I couldn't see all loops in both directions (diag -> ...-> SSA Link
Verification).
Trying to upgrade all micro codes for enclosure, SSA adapters and HDs
brought another
frustration: the upgrade of microcode for enclosure didn't want to finish.
Everything got
fine after IBM replaced the enclosure.

On my list of things to check, (see the end of my original post).

By the way: the adapter in the Silver nodes is a 6215, not a 6225.
