IBM's Websphere Application Server on AIX uses IBM's 1.3.0 EE JDK, and
according to
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/doc/v40/prereqs/ae_v404.htm
JDBC 2.0 is supported. I don't know about the Standard Edition JDK.
