You are on a 4.3.3 system but you need a fileset if you want that oslevel
shows you that you are on a 4.3.3 system. Because of that you can add new
patches to the system without problem. But I recommend you to install first
what the oslevel -l command tell you.
If you need to update one fileset only you can download it from IBM without
problem.

1) I gather it would not hurt to load ML10 over 4.3.2. It would report
that not all file sets would be found for 4.3.3.0. right?
2) If I need to update one file set, can I get that from www.ibm.com
without a patch number?

the 4.3.3.0 level and you need upgrade in order to be at 4.3.3.0.

If you see that all filesets for 4330-10_AIX_ML were found, you are
at 4.3.3.10. If you see not all filesets for 4330-10_AIX_ML were found you
can run instfix -icqk 4330-10_AIX_ML | grep ":-:" and it says you wich
filesets you have to upgrade and the release that you need.
