Hi *!
- chfs -a size=+65536 /var is for 32 MB o.k. (not +65368)
- you can always increase the fs during the production. The LVM works fine

Folks,
Here's another "thread" for increasing filesystem size
I want to increase the /var filesystem by 1PP or 32MB
The filesystem is mirrored
After a little more research and input received, I decided not to use
SMIT but to use the following instead
chfs -a size=+65368 /var (Increase /var by 32MB)
Will this suffice?
Also:
I have increased filesystem sizes in the past while the system was "live"
Was I just lucky that I never had any problems or should I schedule this
during our "maintenance window"?
BTW: Our maintenance window is 1AM -> 5AM Sunday
:0(
Thanks!
