try this on a testbox

create a LV , size of your image
dd your image to this lv and mount it using
mount -o ro -v cdrfs your_lv_name /your/mount/point

please tell us if it works

if not, create the lv 512 bytes bigger, add 512 bytes skip to the dd
command and try again
