I've used old 9076 SP internal disks with ribbon cables externally. Not
the neatest looking thing, but it works.

Bill,
I was laughing at myself trying to connect
43p,disk,43p using a two device ribbon cable.
obviously it won't work.
So, a three way cable is the one I need.
I can even use a internal(68-pin) disk as a external
disk?
