Hi:
I'd the same problem with Oracle Applications (or a problem like that).
I think you can run vfb (virtual frame buffer) pointing to a terminal
(and any "little" window manager like twm/mwm in that terminal).
There is a package for vfb in the AIX installation cd's...
After installing you can run some processes like:
root 36686 1 0 Aug 24 - 1:10 /usr/bin/X11/X -force
-vfb -ac -n :1 :1
root 37436 1 0 Aug 24 - 0:00 /usr/bin/X11/mwm
This worked for me, and I hope this can help.

How can I handle to start xhost (who is needed to run some reports in
Oracle Apps 11i...) automatically by booting my AIX 4.3.3 server.
